by We’re thrilled to announce a new version 2.27.20 with a long-awaited feature in FreeMCServer: the Mods Tab!
Now, you can effortlessly install mods with a single click, just like plugins! If you cannot find the mod you want, feel free to request it and it will be added automatically within few minutes if available for your variant
Just go to your server page and you will see “Mods” tab if your server supports mods!
Currently, it supports Forge and Fabric. When you search for a mod, you’ll only see results compatible with your server’s version and variant, ensuring a smooth and safe experience. If a mod isn’t available for your specific server variant or version, it won’t appear in the results to prevent crashes or compatibility issues. However, you can still manually install unsupported mods via the file manager if you’re confident they will work.
All mods are sourced through Modrinth, and we will add CurseForge support in the future!
